Blue Jeans & Pearls…Come enjoy an evening for Element Chicks (middle and high school) November 6th @ The Blok with special guest speaker Courtney Turner-Miss South Carolina. Cost to be a part of this inaugural event is $10 and dinner will be served. RSVP at Element this Wednesday, the Element tent Sunday morning or to Anne Johnson at annej@truenorthchurch.com.
Dunk’d
We will be having our next Dunk’d (baptism service) on Sunday, November 27th during our 10:00 am and 11:30 am services. If you are interested in being baptized, be sure to attend one of our Baptism classes Sunday, November 13th or on Sunday, November 20th at 10:00 am in the Choir Room at N. A. H. S.
Trunk-or-Treat
Also, come join us on Friday, October 28, 2011 from 5:00pm – 6:30pm for our 3rd annual Trunk-or-Treat event at Ridgeview Manor. Decorate your trunk, dress up in your best costume and pass out your favorite treats to the children. Cars arrive between 5pm and 6pm to decorate and set up. Trick-or treating starts at 6pm and continues until the candy runs out. Prizes will be awarded for the best decorated trunks!!
Journey Teams
Journey Teams at TNC are off ans running for the Fall. Each group, however, is always open to new guests. Get started on the Journey toward a purpose driven life. Come by the “Love In” tent pick up a brochure, and we will help you get connected with an awesome Journey Team.
Your Story
The Bible is filled with stories that reveal the power of God’s love. Its pages are filled with men and women who were changed by Jesus Christ. TNC is filled with life changing stories as well. Many adults and teenagers have opened their lives to God’s grace in a variety of ways. Your story has the power to encourage and touch others as they consider following Jesus. I’d just like to give a quick bravo! for the TNC CD – it is amazing, really, very professional and easy to listen to – I love it in the car. I highly recommend it to everyone – buy up a few to give to your family and friends for Christmas gifts (and no, I’m not in the band!).
