40 Days Between the Lines
Do you struggle at times with reading and understanding the Bible? How often have you found yourself doubting God’s Word? Have you ever wished you knew more about the Bible so you could help a friend? During 40 Days Between the Lines, your family will be inspired to LOVE the WORD and LIVE the WORD. This 6 week church-wide emphasis will help our people learn how to study the Bible with one goal in mind, to transform us from ‘hearers’ to ‘doers’. Make plans to join us for 40 Days Between the Lines beginning January 22, 2012.
Class 101
If you want to know more about the “what and why” of TrueNorth or want to become a member, this class is for you! The class will be at The Blok Saturday, January 28th, from 9:00am to 12:00pm. Sign up’s are available at Guest Services. Breakfast is provided, but childcare is not.
Element
Elements HUGE extravaganza known as 180 Weekend will be March 2nd – 4th, and this year our theme is Kingdom Come. We are bringing in the line-up we worshiped with at Deeper 2011 for this weekend, with Jon Ludovia speaking and Ryan Abel and Friends leading in worship. Registration cost right now is $40 and can be done at www.elementsm.com at any time, Sunday mornings or Wednesday nights.
How can I help with 180 Weekend? I’m so glad you asked…we need homes to house students, hands to help set up, people to make meals, greeters, transportation, etc. If you feel like that’s something you can help with (and we all know your chomping at the bits to help) or have any questions, please email Adam Allen at adama@truenorthchurch.com.

Perspectives
Perspectives is a life-changing journey that outlines God’s heartbeat for his world. Learn about God’s nature, His purpose, and your role in His plan to bring glory to his name. Over 100,000 people have taken the Perspectives course. This year there are over 200 classes world-wide with over 7,000 students. The next Perspectives class will be held on Monday nights, January 16th – May 14th 2012 at First Presbyterian Church, 642 Telfair St., Augusta, GA 30901. ESL Training
WHAT IF THE WORLD CAMETO YOU? A great way to reach the Internationals in our community is by becoming an ESL (English as a Second Language) Teacher. The next training, where you can receive all the tools you need to teach conversational English to international visitors in the CSRA, is being led by Wanda Noble from Mission to North America. The class will be held at the Goodwill Augusta Campus (Job Connections Center), 3179 Washington Rd., Augusta, GA 30907 on Friday, January 27th from 6:15pm-9:30pm and on Saturday, January 28th from 8:45am-5:30pm. The cost is $30/person (check made out to TrueNorth Church, memo: ESL); includes materials, snacks (Friday & Saturday), breakfast and lunch (Saturday). There are only 15 spots available this time due to the new training location.

If you speak Spanish TNC is pleased to announce our first ever Spanish speaking Journey Team. The J-Team will meet at 7:00pm on Wednesdays, at our ministry center at Gentry Mobile Home Park. Wondering about 2012 Mission trip dates? Want to know what types of trips are available? Need to ask a few questions before you get more involved? Then join us at the Missions Q & A, on Monday, January 16, 2012 at The Blok. The Q & A will be from 7pm-8pm, it will give you details on the Charleston, Guatemala, Haiti, and SE Asia trips for 2012. You don’t need to sign up; you just need to show up!!
